The mission of OTV, Inc. (OTV) is to drive the inherent business value of systems technology to the SMB (small and mid-range business) market. The primary scope of our work addresses the business information management arena, specifically in the areas of accounting (including human resources, inventory control, and light manufacturing), retail management, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications.
OTV was incorporated in the state of Oklahoma in June, 1986. Initially providing CPA professional services for small and mid-sized businesses, we responded to the emerging market for system consulting by becoming a Great Plains
VAR (value added reseller) in 1987. In its VAR capacity, OTV
used its consulting expertise to provide enterprise application
needs analysis, application software, software training, and
post implementation support to a dynamic under-served
market. Fueled by rich client relationships, OTV enjoyed
significant growth in the early 1990’s culminating in 1995
with nomination by Great Plains to their Presidents Club.
This prestigious nomination is emblematic of sales
and support excellence and was the first for any
Oklahoma VAR in the awards 12 year history.
Microsoft, through their Business Solutions
Division, acquired Great Plains in 2000. The
partnership OTV enjoyed with Great Plains
was assimilated into the Microsoft Partner
Program. OTV was the first and only Microsoft
partner to earn the designation Microsoft Gold
Certified Business Solutions Partner.
OTV, Inc. was named by Oklahoma Business
Monthly magazine as one of Oklahoma’s 100
fastest growing, privately held companies for
the period 1998 – 2001 (18th ranked). In 2002,
the honor was again earned for the 1999 – 2002
timeframe. In 2004 OTV, Inc. was designated by Microsoft as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, one of 50 nationwide, and one of only 10 nationwide specifically focused on business solutions. OTV is bound by the regulations of the Oklahoma State Board of Public Accountancy and the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
